Johannes Jeglitsch

Johannes is a cinematographer based in Vienna, Austria, with a strong technical foundation and a clear focus on visual authorship.
He has worked on a wide range of national and international television documentary productions, including several theatrical documentary productions, and has extensive experience in music event filming, multi-camera and corporate film productions.
He has produced two large-scale social media formats for public broadcasters as well as a feature-length documentary, further strengthening his understanding of format, pacing, and audience-driven storytelling.
Alongside his work on commissioned productions, Johannes continuously develops, produces and shoots his own projects under the alias gutefreunde Film, defining cinematography as his primary creative focus.
Johannes increasingly works as a Director of Photography on music videos, short films, and other artist-driven visual formats and is always open for collaborations.
In addition to his cinematography work, Johannes is highly proficient in post-production, with many years of professional editing experience.
