He has worked on numerous national and international television documentaries, including theatrical documentary productions, and brings extensive experience in music event filming, multi-camera setups, and corporate productions.

Johannes has shot and produced two large-scale social media formats for public broadcasters as well as a feature-length documentary, further strengthening his understanding of format development, pacing, and audience-driven storytelling.
Alongside commissioned work, Johannes continuously develops and produces his own projects under the alias gutefreunde Film, defining cinematography as his primary creative focus.
